I was only four years old when I got my first candid camera. At the age of nine I had the chance to see the miracle: after the exposition my Mother’s picture appeared in the white sheet floating in some kind of liquid. Since then I simply love the smell of the developer and the fixative. Even today it is a great pleasure for me to experience the chemical process during which the leaf-metal extracts and forms an image.
